Leger museum and a Michelin starred restaurant for lunch

October 2015 – Because of the terrible floods on the French Riviera, the Verrerie de Biot was washed out in the mud slides on the night of 3 October, so we took members and guests to the wonderful Leger museum nearby and then to the planned Les Terraillers restaurant where we enjoyed an incredible lunch.  After lunch the owner of the Verrierie showed us the terrible damage to the whole glass-blowing area, roof, furnaces, etc. and also welcomed us to the International Glass gallery which had miraculously remained intact.  The small temporary shop of the famous Biot bubble-glass was open and some of our members and guests bought pieces.
