June 2018 – Guided tour of Antibes Old Town & Picasso Museum, followed by a Lebanese lunch

We had a fabulous in Antibes with a guided tour of the Old Town and the Picasso museum. Monaco’s ruling family constructed The Chateau Grimaldi in the 12th century. In 1946 the Chateau was the home for six months to the artist Pablo Picasso and is now The Picasso Museum. Picasso, and his widow Jacqueline, donated works to the museum, many of which were made down the road in Vallauris at the Madoura Pottery. 64 happy guests enjoyed a Lebanese meze. Thank you to Judy and Jonathan Nash who organised this fabulous day in Antibes.
