Annual Gala Dinner-Dance was held at the luxurious Carlton Hotel in Cannes on September 21st
This year’s Gala Dinner-Dance was held at the luxurious Carlton Hotel in Cannes. Members and friends enjoyed a delicious three course dinner, paired with fine wines. We enjoyed a great atmosphere in the exquisite Ballroom and danced to music selected by DJ Mark Dezzani and many of us in the arms of two professional dancers. Read more
The American Club watches the USA win the Jury’s Price at the Annual Cannes Pyrotechnic Art Festival on August 15th.
Members and guests gathered on the Croisette Beach to watch Rozzi's Famous Fireworks, a family business founded in 1895. The Musical Theme was “American Rhapsody” – A cultural journey round the United States of America through its diverse musical heritage. The USA was in competition with Germany, Italy, Austria, Sweden and France. Read more
The American Club celebrates 4th July 2019 in Villefranche-sur-Mer
The fun took place at the Amélie Pollonais Square with a Jeeps and Pin-up Parade, Pin-up Show, Country Dance and Rock'n Roll demonstration, Speeches and French & American National Anthems, New Orleans Jazz with James Andrews Quintet. A private dinner for American Club members followed at the famous “La Mère Germaine”.  Read more
March 22nd – The American Club visits the US Consulate in Marseille
A Club weekend in Marseille, included a visit to the US Consulate, overnight stay and dinner at the Radisson Blu hotel, a privatized panoramic sightseeing tour to the key features of Marseille. We did a guided walking tour from the Vieille Charité through Le Panier, the oldest district in France and ended the day with the famous Bouillabaisse. Read more

Consul General Simon R. Hankinson attended & gave a speech at our 4th July Celebration
We were delighted to welcome Consul General Simon R. Hankinson and his wife Jill to our 4th July celebration. Since the closing of the U.S. Consular Agency in Nice in September 2015, we have missed having a close relationship with the Agency. With the arrival of Mr. Hankinson last July, we are looking forward to a closer cooperation. This is the second time he visits with us this year.   Read more

An amazing night at the 2018 Club Vivanova Luxury Lifestyle Gala Dinner
This year The American Club was VIP partner of the famous Gala Dinner held at the Fairmont Monte Carlo on March 10th. Club Vivanova Monte Carlo and founder Bradley Mitton thanked gala attendees, VIP partners and supporters for raising €35,000 for three charities; TAF The Animal Fund, the Chances For Children Foundation, the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco and the sponsoring of five children in Uganda for the Chances for Children Foundation for the next year. Jaber Jallad and Burton Gintell awarded President Emeritus
Following the Annual General Meeting, several Officers and Governors were recognized for their efforts and commitment to the Club's success. Burton Gintell and Jaber Jallad were awarded President Emeritus for their distinguished service. They were instrumental in the survival of the Club after years of stagnation. Dear Members, I have learned of the passing last night of our dear friend, long-time club member and legal advisor, Avery Glize-Kane, after a long fight against cancer. Avery was such a vital and exuberant presence in our lives; it is difficult to imagine that her light has now been extinguished. We all have our personal memories of Avery.
